This Privacy Policy explains how Vice Network may collect, use, store, share, disclose, retain, and protect information when REDACT is used in Discord servers.
REDACT is a Discord-native MILSIM community-management bot intended only for recreational Arma Reforger MILSIM gaming communities located in the United States. REDACT is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.

REDACT is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. Vice Network does not knowingly collect, process, or store information from users under 18. If Vice Network learns that a user under 18 has used REDACT or submitted information through REDACT, Vice Network may restrict access, delete associated information where appropriate, and terminate access for the user or server.
Server owners and administrators are responsible for ensuring that their use of REDACT is limited to users who are at least 18 years old.
REDACT is intended only for users, servers, clients, and communities located in the United States. If Vice Network determines that use occurs outside the United States or creates international privacy, compliance, legal, or jurisdictional risk, Vice Network may suspend, restrict, or terminate access.
Information processed by REDACT is intended to support recreational MILSIM gaming communities, Discord-based roleplay organization, and community-management workflows.
REDACT is not intended to collect or process information for real-world military, law-enforcement, intelligence, private-security, employment, legal, medical, financial, governmental, investigative, or emergency-response purposes. If a server, user, administrator, or third party repurposes REDACT outside its intended recreational MILSIM gaming purpose, they are responsible for any legal consequences arising from that misuse.
Where enabled, REDACT may ask whether a user is active duty, reserve, National Guard, veteran, prior service, civilian, or prefer not to answer. REDACT may also ask for branch information. This information is intended only for recreational MILSIM community context and should not be treated as verified, official, or determinative of real-world identity or credentials.
REDACT is designed to support Discord-based server administration, not real-world identity verification. Users should be identified only by Discord User ID, Discord username or display name, guild/role/channel IDs, and voluntarily provided gaming platform identifiers.
Users are prohibited from submitting real legal names, private addresses, phone numbers, personal email addresses, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial information, medical information, employer information, school information, family information, or other real-world identifying information unless specifically required by an approved workflow and lawful server purpose.
REDACT does not require users to provide real names for ordinary bot use. Server owners and administrators should not require members to submit real names, legal identities, private contact information, or other unnecessary personal information through REDACT.

Restricted member reports may contain sensitive allegations, evidence references, staff notes, or governance records. Access to restricted reports should be limited to authorized reviewers only. Restricted reports should not be exposed through ordinary personnel files, public channels, technical logs, or general staff views.

Vice Network does not sell user data to advertisers.
Vice Network may be required to disclose limited information in response to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, arbitration orders, law-enforcement requests, regulatory requests, or other legally enforceable documentation. Any disclosure will be limited, to the extent reasonably possible, to the information specifically required by the valid legal documentation.
Where legally permitted and operationally reasonable, Vice Network may attempt to notify the affected server owner, administrator, or user before disclosing information. However, notice may not be provided where prohibited by law, court order, legal process, safety concerns, confidentiality obligations, or operational necessity.
Data may be retained for as long as needed to operate REDACT, support server records, resolve disputes, enforce Terms, maintain audit history, comply with legal obligations, preserve backup or recovery records, respond to valid legal process, and protect REDACT, Vice Network, users, servers, or third parties.
Server owners may request deletion or export where supported, subject to technical limitations, legal obligations, security requirements, audit preservation, backup limitations, and restricted-report handling.

Requests may be denied, limited, or delayed where identity cannot be verified, the request affects another user's rights or records, or the data is needed for audit, safety, security, legal, operational, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Vice Network uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no online service is completely secure. Vice Network cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, disclosure, loss, misuse, or alteration will never occur.
Server owners are responsible for configuring Discord permissions responsibly. Misconfigured roles, channels, threads, forums, or permissions may expose data to unintended viewers.
REDACT is not intended for children or minors. REDACT is restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. Vice Network does not knowingly collect information from users under 18.
REDACT operates through Discord and may reference third-party tools or links submitted by users, including TacOps maps, Tactical Data Link references, Arma Reforger references, Discord links, or other planning resources. Vice Network is not responsible for third-party privacy practices, security, data handling, availability, legality, or content.
Future optional integrations may include server-status tracking, webhook parsing, mod snapshots, statistics, leaderboard information, killfeed records, teamkill records, or game/server identity matching. If these features are enabled, this Privacy Policy may be updated to explain what additional data is collected and how it is used. Future integrations are not guaranteed and are not part of the default core service unless separately enabled and disclosed.
Vice Network may update, revise, modify, replace, or remove any part of this Privacy Policy at any time, with or without prior notice. Changes are effective when posted. Continued access to or use of REDACT after any change means that you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
